Ahhh... "El Twincam". That has to be the MOST riced-out car in my country, it's Colombia's Honda Civic. You can hardly find one that doesn't have either a fartcan, shattered gearbox/axles, a stupidly oversized stereo, a bunch of stickers some lame TSW rims or ALL THE ALREADY MENTIONED. Time to revisit some online car classifieds to give y'all something to laugh about! Welcome to "Questionable Modifications: Colombian tuning ads. Swift GTI edition!"
.
To begin, we've got this looker...
XTREME Concepts indeed!!! Lime green paintjob, a big spoiler, twin factcan, sponsor roll...and LOOK AT THAT!!! THE HOOD MAKES THE HEADLIGHTS LOOK AS IF THE CAR WAS ANGRY!!! TUNERRIFIC! All yours for a completely sensible US$5.5k.
The previous example only comes with a cold air intake for engine mods, but don't fret, here's a more XTREME Concept...
Mind the gap YO! DAT PANEL GAP! The reason for it HAS to be all those horses under the hood 'cuz this Swift has got a turbo! Pics of the engine bay look decent and not really questionable but here's the
Kicker (Geddit? Kicker...like the brand of crappy audio equipment...yeah...I'm funny): The ad says "Built for racing complete with a turbo and full audio".
'Cuz...you know...every racing team that's worth a damn needs black tinted taillights and a heavy bootful of dumb speakers. Yup, this racing car is up for grabs for US$10.5k. A steal.
And if you think it can't get worse...look at this and think again:
Ohhhh yeah. Gobs of bondo, stupid tiger tribal decal, plastic guards for the wipers, "Need for Speed Underground" windshield sticker, poorly painted bottom lip with the name of, presumably, the beloved maiden of the car's owner. Tuner sauce, bros. Savour very detail of this ricerama!
Horribly out of place rear spoiler, poorly applied flame decals, a tire/wheel combo that doesn't fit both in terms of style and geometry.
Flip up DVD player, oversized tach, fake aluminum floormats, huge speakers and a fire extinguisher.
And, of course, a bootfull of speakers. You know, for performance.
Thank you for watching, I apologize for what you've seen but I hope you were entertaind even if you might've been disgusted. Please tune in for the next edition of "Questionable Modifications: Colombian tuning ads"
