DO NOT ASK "WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG." OR ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THAT!

I am hoping this thread will function as the old subforum did. Although I do not expect a response to any question.

My questions:
1- "What was it like to develop the course maker? How is the final version similar or different than how it was originally planned."

2 - "Are there any features you wish were added that weren't, and why weren't you able to add them?"

3 - "What is your favorite track you have created with the course maker?"

4 - "Is there still development going on with course maker and will we continue to see it evolve over time? Possibly in GT6 or a future release?

5 - "Polyphony Digital has always had a history of making original courses, if there were a competition on a popular fan site like GTPlanet. Would you consider driving or even making the course a PD original if the course was good enough? Perhaps similar GT favorites like Tokyo R246 and Seattle Circuit?"

I look forward to seeing what else GTP has to ask. :) I don't think we will hear any answers, but it would be amazing if we did get a response. :)

Highlighted questions:
@LeGeNd-1 "Any plans for the GPS maker to also incorporate elevation info?"

I was just thinking of creating a suggestions thread, but this thread will do.

1) Any plans for user controlled elevation change on Eifel Flat?

2) Is it possible to give us more freedom (adjust each section width/banking, crossover tracks, tighter turns, "free draw" option)?

3) Any plans for the GPS maker to also incorporate elevation info?

4) Could the GPS system be simplified (just take your tablet with you instead of the whole transferring using iTunes)?

5) Any plans for support within the game itself (for those that don't have tablets)?

6) Any plans for new themes (or bring back those from GT5)?

7) Possible to implement a "randomise" function just like GT5?

8) What happens when GT6 online services are shutdown? Will we be unable to transfer any new tracks?

I can answer Question 4. :) Google has a free app that can capture GPS data from your device directly and save it as a .GPX :)

Does it work on iPad though? And depending on where the app saves the gpx file, the course maker software might not read it if it's not transferred through iTunes.

Can you name that app for me? I've been on the play store for a while now and can't find that exact function describes in any of "read more" areas... :banghead: Then again I could just be blind and dumb!

You can't import from your device?

Improvements I would like:

1) more objects to place. Andalucia will sometimes place objects by the road, like the parking areas folks tend to gather in while cruising. I should be able to place one of these anywhere I want.

2) railing options. Death Valley has a picket fence type railing. I'd like to use this railing or no railing at all in Andalucia.

3) automatic loading of transferred track. If I'm testing small changes it would be more efficient for the ps3 to automatically reload the new temp track and restart the session when I push it up from my tablet.

4) topographic layers. If I could better see the topography development times would improve.

5) exporting and importing of track data.

6) I'll update this post as I think of other improvements. ;)
