Quick Driving challenge question

In the driving challenges, is there a way to set gears to manual and TCS off once for all challenges, or do the settings have to be adjusted before starting each individual challenge?

Also, the load times (UMD) seem long. Will installing the game to memory card speed up the load times?

I think you have to change the settings each time. I switched off tcs+asm and I set my car to manual from the main options menu. But those settings only seem to carry over in the races.

I cant complain about the load times (I have the PSN download) I havent come across any load times that were long enough to notice.

Am I the only one disappointed that you don't get cars for acing license tests? :(

You're not. I was thoroughly disappointed when I booted up the game and went to the challenges (thinking they are like license tests). Went and golded the first batch and got nothing. Then I just sort of stopped doing it and went racing for a bit...

I did the same actually, too bad I mean they got enough cars to have had one for each license... oh well.

I am sort of glad we don't get cars, we get tons of money (especially for golds) and I prefer to buy my own cars.

Yes. That's why the option is there. 👍
Installing the game on the memory stick requires you to have a custom firmware, doesn't it? I'm quite new to this PSP-world, but I watched a tutorial video where the guy claims that it will only work with a custom firmware. Are there other ways to install the game, with the "right" firmware?

If your PSP has official firmware then you can install in on to a memory stick. The option to do that is, not suprisingly, in options. You still need the UMD in the PSP though.
