Quick money (quick to me anyway)

I read the cars you started with thread and I started with the Miata...went through sunday cup, clubmans cup, FR cup, spider/roadster cup, 80's sports car cup and a coupla the turbo cups, i can't beat the last race that 3KGT VR4 rapes me every time, but after i won the RX-7 Infini III (TII variant to us americans) i went to the Gran Turismo cup and just race the test course as i have the 1st turbo upgrade and all engine upgrades and it's top speed is 175 i can easily beat the rally cars (though only by a second as an average) and get 10k or 20k (can't remember which...) rinse and repeat as necessary..wow that was sposed to be short...

assuming you only have a B license, a good way to make money is to do the spider and roadster cup, or the GT World. I just did the first race like 50 times but I'm sure there are more enjoyable ways to make money.

If you have a stock Miata, slap T2s on it and run the Roadster Enduro. 100 large and a 25% shot at an F1 car, right off the bat.

The absolute most cost-effective series is the Amateur GT World Championship. Races are short, you get good money in cash, and using the save-and reload trick you can get Vertigo racecars to sell at 300,000 a pop.

Neon, unless CrashfactoryX gets lucky winning the F1 at the Roadster enduro he currently has no car capable of winning the Amateur GT World Championship. (10 races worth 10,000 credits and 100,000 credits for the championship win.) I agree this is good quick money but he needs a car that can win.

I suggest using his RX7 at the amateur turbo race at the test track. 15,000 credits per race. I think 175 mph (280 kmh) is fast enough to win here.

No, no, ur all wrong, thats not how u make fast money! :mischievous:

What you do, is the europein cup, finish the 1st 4 races and make sure u get 1st in all of em! (each race is only 3 laps) save after you win the 4th race, then go to the next race start, then exit it. then you get ur money from teh champioonship, ya u dont get much, but heres where it pays off, when u get the part where u can get 1 of 4 cars, the vertigo race car is in there. If you get it, you can sell it for 300k! yea, now thats fast money.

GBFX good idea, but does CrashfactoryX have a car that can win. I don't think he does yet. Maybe after doing a few test track races he will have enough credits to do up the RX7 he has or do up one of the prize cars from the GT world cup race. The Skyline R32, Toyota GT4 and Lancer evo 6 are all capable of winning the European Amateur championship with a few mods.

If he can beat the gran turismo cup race on biegenner, he should be able to beat this.

i agree for sure;)

(this topic has already been treated before)

Yeah, I made a mistake - the Vertigo is from the European Championship. I should have looked it up - thanks for the correction!

Hopefully he hasn't done the lightweight upgrades. That was my problem. Had to go buy a stock LS.

well, my 7 is now fully developed, all turbo, all engine upgrades, brakes, lightened (it actually does better lighter, believe that or not) sports tires, only left is the final customizable suspension and t8's......didn't get a chance to play today, gotta go to work in an hour and the old lady is watching soap operas  :odd:  so Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll try the european cup, i have NO patience for enduro's, though when i do, I'll get my best friend to come over and we'll tag-team it like we did on GT2....

Funnily enough...

In the first few screenshots we ever saw of GT2, way back when, I noticed that the screen for the European Championship actually said "Europian Championship" (with Japanese katakana in the background saying "Yoroppian" - how the Japanese would spell "European"). I sent a letter off to SCEE in Liverpool and the rest is history... :D

Well, perhaps someone there noticed first - but they did phone back and offer me an interview for games testing (just after I got offered my last job)...

There are very few decisions I can make in a split-second, taking up a job like that would be one of them. :D

Job I had - £17,000pa; Job at SCEE - £8,000 and 300 miles away...

Well, when you put it that way.

The relocating part does sound uncomfortable; it wouldn't be about the money though, well maybe a little, but you'd be sitting on your behind all day playing games, finding nicks in them, and then playing some more.

there is also a save load trick that even few know about where u race 5 times out of 10 races and win the championship...

I can win a championship by winning 5 races and quitting the rest. Not hard to do, and it's not a save reload trick, you save that till the end race screen for race 9 in a 10 race cup.

Win the first five races, quit the next 5 races when in first place. Real easy to do. Does not do much for your win ratio however.
You also have to be 31 points ahead of second at end of race 5 for it to work.

Hmm...Maybe i should send them a letter telling them Deustch is spelled srong in GT3.

Win European Championship: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR with AYC and... well, by the time I realized how amazing the lemon-yellow Evo VI I won was with an AYC, I could pimp it all to hell. Before that, I'd race the Beginner GT World or the American or Japanese championships in Amateur just to change things up.

Lemme tell ya, fellow n00bs... there's nothing like seeing over 1 million in your bank account after pimping out all the cars you've collected and didn't outright dislike. (Something like 20 cars for me.) Then again, I'm so anal I won about a half-dozen Vertigos before I even decided to spend the money from it. ^_^

Oh... save a Vertigo. You may well need it for the Amateur NA Championship. Besides, it sounds a lot like my electric shaver (so does the RX-7), which is amusing considering the manufacturer. ;)
