Now I know its kind of odd asking this here but does anyone know what the difference is between Forza using say....113.5kgf/mm and GT4 using 13.5 kgt/mm.
Also What is GT4 measuring in for the downforce of spoilers N or lbs? Or somthing else? Thanks guys.

For a simple general look at how spring rates are worked out, take a browse here:

http://www.efunda.com/DesignStandards/springs/calc_comp_k.cfm.

The normal way to rate springs is to express how much force it takes to compress them a given distance (hence kgf/mm). This number is easily converted into Newtons for calculations.

In GT4, my guess would be that the designation is not that significant as the interface is glossing over a lot of variables to allow the user to manipulate a single number (spring angle, spring length, constant/increasing rate et al). It doesn't mean that that kgt/mm is not a real world measure but I've not heard of it (or used it) outside of GT4 :D.

As to the dowforce question, I used to work (in GT3) on the assumption that the number was a multiplier of effective car weight (leaving aside a long discourse on how downforce actually works). The ranges in GT4 are different, so I can't really say I have a clue as yet because I haven't looked that deeply into it so far (usually don't drive cars with adjustable downforce).

I think the DF in GT4 is just measured in "units". PD probably did it this way due to user interface.
