I read the article on drifting, and I'm able to pull off some good drifts. My question is this:

I reach a point as I'm going around a turn and am at full countersteer where I've used too much gas and I can tell the car is going to spin. At this point I'm off the gas and just rely on full countersteer. The back end doesn't tuck itself in though. The car just maintains that position and I've even practically come to a complete stop (looks bad on the replay) before the back end comes in. Is there anything I can do in this situation to force the back to come back inline while I'm going around the turn or do I just have to never get into that situation?

I've tried braking and the e-brake. That's about all I can think of to try.

Any advice?

Yes, you just have to never get into that position, sometimes a tiny bit of gas can help and might shift some weight to the rear wheels and cause them to grab, but too much will make you spin out more. Even if that does work, the drift will still look bad. What you can try is set the car up to understeer more this will allow you give more gas and you will spin out less but if you don't drive the car right it will feel annoying cus it will understeer. And if you are not using the joy stick to steer then switch to it, you can turn the wheels faster than using the Dpad.

yea, like wut trueno said....just don't get into that situation.
tapping the X button at appropriate times does help a lil tho ^_^

firstly try not to get into that situation. i think its only thanks to a good car setup that ur car doesnt spin round 180 at the point... there isn't much you can do. perhaps try using more grippy tyres on the front wheels?

(or use a skyline, when ur in that situation the 4wd car will pull u out if u floor it hehe)

umm yeah :D
