Last I saw him was in "Edge of Tomorrow" ... I loved his lines. Each and every time he gave them, they were the same and also always different. Now it is time to replace "Battle" with "Death". And have Sgt Farell in Private Cage's place

The good news is there’s hope for you, private. Hope in the form of glorious combat. Battle is the great redeemer. The fire and crucible in which the only true heroes are forged. The one place where all men truly share the same rank, regardless of what kind of parasitic scum their were going in. … I envy you, Cage. Tomorrow morning you will be baptized — born again.”

Sad time. I loved a lot of his roles. Even in Thunderbirds, which I know as a film wasn't all that, but he really made it something. Recently came across a show called 'Training Day', showed how versatile he was. Range of great characters played.

Too young, rip. I still remember his line towards the end of Titanic.
Can't find it on YouTube but I always liked the way he said it
and I always felt his best acting ability was shown in that one scene.

'Three years. I've thought of nothing except Titanic. But I never got it. I never let it in.'

This was completely shocking to hear this morning, he was still young. RIP

My brother and I were watching Aliens the other day and were talking about how great it was that some of his lines were made up on the spot.

Storm chasers honoring him with their GPS trackers today.

Damn, this is so unexpected. :indiff: He was one of my favorite actors, Aliens, Edge of Tomorrow, Apollo 13 - his performance was so iconic.

This just plain sucks.

This sucks, he was a great actor, had many likable roles and some unlikable ones but a well rounded actor I thought. He wasn't even that old, quite sad.
