R.I.P. Clive BurrMusic

I know we have an Iron Maiden thread but I felt this deserved it's own thread.


As a huge fan of Iron Maiden I am deeply saddened by this, almost in tears...almost as if I knew him. Clive passed away from his long lasting battle with multiple sclerosis on Tuesday peacefully in his sleep. Clive performed on Iron Maiden's debut album through The Number of the Beast. He was 56.

That was the news that almost ruined my day. One of my friends who runs our metal page posted it on there, saw it when I was posting a song & thought "Oh damn."

Mmmm. I just read the news an hour ago at work... Well, work experience... But work nonetheless. It really is saddening to read this news. RIP, Clive Burr.

I only heard about it when I saw a link to the news being posted on the band's website in a fan group for them on Facebook that I'm a member of.
