I have been checking all my Best Motoring videos which featured battles or time attacks on the Fuji track (1998/5, 1999/6, 2001/5 & 2003/11) in order to get some lap time references for GT4P. This is what I found :
BEST MOTORING 1998/5
Ferrari 355 1.47.680 (top speed 252.77km/h)
EVO 5 RS 1.48.170

Ferrari 355 1.47.310 (249.56km/h)
BMW M Coupe 1.53.750 (226.37km/h)
BEST MOTORING 2001/05
WRX Sti RA 1.51.310 (228.84km/h)
EVO 7 RS 1.47.410 (239.20km/h)
EVO 7 GSR 1.47.990 (237.91km/h)
WRX Sti 1.51.880 (229.66km/h)
RX7 RS 1.48.890 (235.67km/h)
RX7 RZ 1.48.170 (235.48km/h)
Skyline R34 GTR 1.48.210 (240.20km/h)
NSX Type S 1.51.180 (241.10km/h)
NSX Type S Zero 1.48.000 (237.03km/h)
BEST MOTORING 2003/11
Skyline KPGC10 GTR 1.49.581 (214.70km/h) 1969 race car w/modern slick tires
F3000 formula car 1.14.854 (current track record) on SLICKS
Porsche 911 GT3 MkII 1.45.820 (255.60km/h)
NSX-R MkII 1.47.840 (237.90km/h)
EVO 8 RS 1.50.750 (226.20km/h)
WRX Sti 1.49.460 (242.60km/h)
Ferrari 355 F1 1.49.630 (242.60km/h)
Ferrari 360 F1 1.47.520 (243.60km/h)
Several of these lap times correspond to cars from GT4P, so we can compare our "virtual" times with real ones. As all cars were on STREET tires, we should also use STREET tires on GT4P to get comparable times.
Let´s see how everyone here does against the Best Motoring pro drivers!! In Gt4P it is not that hard to get better times than the real ones. As mentioned on other threads, maybe it has something to do with the risk and consecuences of crashing a real car vs. no risk at all in GT4...
