R32 bodykit and understeering issue, solved...

...turn your countersteering setting to 'weak' or 'off'.

I have just found this out.
It is because of this stupid setting at 'strong' that your R32 does not turn in on hairpins.

Who uses aids like countersteering anyway?!!
I don't want to diss the guy but if that's the problem no wonder I'm not having this issue personally. The driving aids make the cars more stable but at the expense of being nimble.

It's kinda funny that you'd even leave that on for so long. All aids can be turned off while installing the game.

But, it's definitely not the issue, ride height is the issue. If you lower certain cars too far, especially the R32, the wheels will catch the fenders/panel and you'll experience immense understeer. This has been known for a while in the community, so I think you've got the wrong end of the stick.

Edit/TLDR: Yes, I've experienced what you're talking about, but I've never used any driving aids. It is known that ride height is to blame.

Yep ride height was the issue for me, along with too little downforce. Unfortunately when you install some parts, the values in the tune are not always functional or optimal. Always go in and check after install. Many cars are too low after installing suspension.

Ride height can solve it, yes. But it is also simply solved by countersteering assistance. Try it.
Those that don't use aids at all, l bet you'll not be able to drive the Shelby 427 without them. It is undriveable in my view.

Also, l wonder what cars you are driving. There are cars that need to be driven with aids.

Drop the bravado about not driving with aids and get real. This game is a disgrace with it's physics and handling of cars.

I mean I golded the Music Rally with the Shelby with no aids and the garbage haptics turned on, it's really not that difficult.

Better to admit you're not that great and still learning than to accuse others of lying.

I only use TCS 1 as driving aid.
Nothing else.

ASM slows you down way too much.
Countersteer Assist can cause more problems than it can solve.
Auto Drive: Why even play the game.
Brake Point: Tells you to brake way too early,
Driving line; Good, but the racing line is not always ideal.
Apex Points: Good, but not always ideal it follows the racing line.

I know, it's particularly noticeable at Indianapolis and Arnage :D
