R34 V Spec I vs. V Spec II

They're pretty much identical.

The V-Spec II is supposed to have better brakes. Without any mods, the V-Spec II is 0.003sec faster in the 400M.

In this thread, meeekael swears the V-Spec II has more understeer and the regular V-Spec is better. Sounds like something that could be fixed with settings...

yea the vspec too has a lot of things that are better than the vspec one...like mor ps out of the engine carbon fiber elements...better brakes better roll bars and other stuff i can remember...kinda like the equivalent of a z06 and a ttop corvete

DONT be cheap get the vspec II
only if u want red or yellow GTRs then get the I, but cmon the II looks better
even tho there both identical, i like looking at the hold in the hood on the II

Yeah, that's true IRL, but in the game they weigh the same and have the same power.

Does the normal Vspeci go to that 1000+bhp that the II can get to?

the v-spec 2 has 100 rpm more than the v-spec 1

I tested them both stoch and find no difference, but maybe when you are in 5th or 6th gear those 100 rpm will do it .....

I dunno ??

What about downforce? Maybe the understeer problem is caused by less downforce. I can't check right now, my boys are up and they have taken over the PS2 and I don't dare intrude on their game this early in the morning! I can't wait for summer vacation to be over!

Roman Numerals, Mr. Sarcasm...I bet you were waiting for one of us to correct you!

Maybe it's a newer model (different years), slightly improved...

No, I think the "Bean Counters" figured out a way to make it cheaper. That's more often the case.

Maybe that's why I like the original one better.
