*I noticed that Fury's times do not add up so I asked him for the real total time and he has not gotten back to me yet.

I wish Lotus350 could have gotten a time in. Did you try this one out, ZC85?

I guess so, but if you notice there are 2 noteable persons missing from the R34 list, ME, and Lotus, I think Lotus had a lot of house work to do ;) (Sorry Lotus I had to, couldnt resist) I didnt have enough time to do a good race, but for the Finale I'll be there 😈

What were your times in practice and attempts, whichever were better?

It was all in the first lap Talentless you 2's 2nd and 3rd lap times were really close

My fastest time was 0'00.00, I didnt do any laps, I couldnt find the time.

BTW when i'm on this site I am also doing my homework so I really couldnt find enough time last week.

I got the first lap time by starting in the 4-5k rpm range and squezing between the car in front of me and the barrier to my right, and doing other crap.

ok

Nice one Talentless you swine!!! ;)

Gooood opening lap! I had a bit of a tussle at the first corner with an AI R34 on that run - knocked me into the apex barrier.

Managed to pull 1:49.1xx's on Free Run practice just couldn't stay off the barriers during a race. This was my first clean run of only three! Ran 1:44.xxx's with my stock 400R almost straight away - show's the difference.

Z06's ran away with it there, what's next?

The truth is that I am sometimes only a half second behind guys like mr. persistance, though usually the time difference is larger.

Not as Talentless as my name says. :P

Ha, just noticed I beat risingson77 Z06 time. :P :D Sorry can't help it, us R34 guy's need to gloat while we can here...

And I think people should stop the 'Z06 vs R34 is wrong' thing on ZeroCool85. It was only an idea for a challenge that came from a fun thread... :)

Sorry i totally forgot about this one although i did run it a few times when i originally entered and managed a nice clean 3 laps , but i don't think i saved it as i thought i'd be going back on it and do a better time , but silly me forgot all about it

I'll check the memory card just in case i did save it .

Next time Zerocool , ... RESIST!! 😈

I forgot , thats all

:D

Zero i noticed you said Fury's time don't add up , it does add up :) it's you that can't :P

Terribly sorry about the messed up time. This is what happened:

I did this run on Saturday night and recorded my times down on an index card. I didn't turn in my times right away just in case I were to go back and get a better run. Sunday comes and my mother puts up the PS2 (This is supposed to keep me from playing the game when I should be doing my homework. I can only play the game on the weekends), so I decide to go turn in my times. Only problem is, I lost the index card I had the times written down on. So without the index card with my times, and without the PS2 to re-run the challenge, I was stuck. Luckily I was able to recall around what second of each lap I completed. The times were:

1'51.xxx
1'45.xxx
1'44.xxx

Never did pay attention to the total time, so I just added these times up and thats how I got 4'40.xxx. I figured I'd turn these in, even if they weren't totally true, just to get recognition for at least running the challenge. After all, you did seem pretty p!ssed in the first challenge when only 4 people turned in times, and I really wanted to turn in some times for my favorite track to see how I compare with everyone else. I see why you were suspicious, since my total time was so much further away than the second place time. Sorry that it had to happen this way.

Holy crap. Im totally surprised by the results.

When i was reading the thread before i was scared because i saw some people posting that they were running laps around 1'46. I would have thought i would have been smoked. I was also frusterated because i had the technique to get some 1'45ish laps but i just couldnt seem to run EVERY turn the clean way i had in my head in one lap.

So Furyx's times seem very doable. Its just that the total time is incorrect because he treated seconds as tenths of a minute. You have to add the seconds seperately and then divide by 60, then multiply the decimal by 60 and add that to the minute total.

Well even though he has now said he made them up i'm still baffled as to why my calculator keeps coming up with 4'40.754

Just added Lav01's times up just as a tester and that came up with 4'50.318 , not just with calculator but on paper too   weird :nervous:

Forgive me but i'm rubbish at maths so that means absolutley nothing to me and i wouldn't know where to start , i must be a :dunce: :(

Let's see...it was 11:30 PM, and I was tired (and not trying too hard) when I ran that time. Next time, it will be different. :fdevil: Gloat while you can!

Good job getting the truck...er, R34 around the track that fast, tho. :D :P

add the minutes then seconds than the numbers after the decimal

60*3=180

44
+51
45
140

180+140= 320

.115
+ .297
.342
.754

320+.754= 320.754

320.754/60= 5.3459

5.3459-5= .3459

.3459*60= 20.754

Lotus go do some housework and stop adding ;):P I knew his times didnt add up becuz each lap was in the 1'44-45 range and there is no way in hell 1'44-45's can add up to 4'40, duh! :P I didnt add them up myself because I am also bad at math like you are Lotus ;):P
