hey guys,

i started fine tuning a couple of my fav cars and pretty much got the best performance ever out of almost all of them after i was done...thing is with the gt1 cars they always make ground contact with speeds above 360...its not too low but im guessin the spoiler/wing adjustments are responsible for that since that has the greatest effect at high speeds...so anyone got any clues? thanx in advance,

btw does anyone know how many times that 1hp increase takes place shortly after u break the car in? i just bough a 2nd skyline r34 and ghot my first one up to 1065...now the new one increase from 1066 to 1072...is 6 times the max?

You're correct about the ground contact happening because downforce is forcing the suspension in compression.

If you increase downforce, you have to increase spring rate as well to resist it. If you set the downforce up 25% over the original number, you need to make the corresponding springs 25% stiffer.

Fortunately,.. in this game, the only effect ground contact has on the car is emitting a few sparks. I see no change in my accell. performance whether the ass is draggin or not.
