R8 Tuning help.

Hi guys,

I've been playing around with the dealer Audi R8 5.2 and the LeMans Quattro 03.

They are my fave cars around and I've been messing around with the 5.2 to some avail but the LeMans cant seem to work with a similar setup.

Has anyone here tried tuning the LM Quattro 03 ??

It seems to have major understeer/cornering problems and cant even make very light bends at high speed on long meandering roads (nurbugring)

Could someone give me some advice on what to do to bring this monster under control.

I think it has alot more potential than the normal dealership available R8 given its superior stats in almost all departments and would really like to harness its capabilities.

I'm getting really annoyed with PD on the random cars with different types and stats. It was already annoying enough to keep track of which car can be RM'ed. Now I'm still trying to sort out which cars have LM or not.

I tried the tuningfor the LeMans 03 you linked but it still turned like a boat in Nurburgring T_T

How close are the specs to the R8 5.2 V10? Drastically changing the camber and splitting the torque 40/60 or 35/65 usually works great for understeering issues

Hmm i tried a 35/65 for it but it cant steer anywhere as close to the 5.2 R8.

Its specs are something like 910Hp/6800Rpm , abt 200 pounds lighter and 200+ Ilbs more torque.

I tried pushing the toe all the way to a negative 55 for front and back and drastically tuned the suspension in favour of counter-acting the understeer such as low front high back for most of the suspension setting.

It still refuses to steer anywhere but straight, drives pretty much similar to the Option Stream Z.

If it's going to behave like that, than its a sad day for me haha.

the stast of my R8 5.2 is

898Hp , with like 580 torgue or so i think, in the 8000 RPM range or so.

The LeMans 03 is

910Hp with 700+ Torque at around 6000RPM.
