race drift

i currently have 2 race drift cars set purposely under 300hp. i have a ae86 trueno naturally aspirated with 225hp, and a s15 silvia with 277hp. i put soft tires on the front wheels and medium slicks on the back for the s15, and due to my suspension settings, i am able to perform grip and drift manouvers. for the 86 i just slipped on some hard slicks. now does anyone here drift into the apex then slide out to the apron? i remember hearing somewhere this is a certain type of drift style, and its working amazing lap times without use of brakes in underpowered cars! i managed to beat an amateur lever FR challenge with my 225hp trueno (no tcs/asm) with a 8 second difference from the 2nd place finisher! all by using the 4 wheel drift method!!! amazing.

Are you referring to race form? Start at the outside of the corner, touch apex mid-corner, and exit at the outside again? If so, I'd say it's simply the "correct" way to do it. In drift competitions, points are subtracted if you do not follow the correct line. See the videos on my webpage for an example of what I'm talking about. Same thing you're talking about?

I would agree with pergatory that this is the correct way to drive/drift in general... you dont see many gt3ers doing this however...

anyways your victory is great... but i am not sure you are correctly using the term 4 wheel drift... anyways... keep trying to get faster... but remember that the greater you angle and the more smoke you produce the slower you will go...

i have taken prof league na turbo and mr with my speedster at 350 hp... fun stuff
