Man... looking at the vote comparisons, I can't believe how few votes this thread is getting.
I think the board needs to consider some things. In the Premium car list, the number of race cars is quite limited in their various classes, and leagues represented. It's better if you include Standard cars, still not the best variety, plus I understand there is some dislike for the Standard race cars. In order to have a very large field, you'd have to have a jumble of cars from various leagues, from ALMS, FIA GT, Super GT and others, which is what we're stuck with now. And I'd really like Gran Turismo to get away from that hodge podge necessity, and into pure league racing recreation, like they try to do with NASCAR - and all those duplicate cars.
If we get those online Club and League Builder tools, what then? If you want to make something trying to capture the essence of BTCC, WTCC, V8 Supercar, ALMS or whatever, this situation is going to force some work on the league managers to make it viable. Or suppose you want to create a fantasy league that offers a different flavor of racing. You can slap racing parts and do weight reduction on a selection of approved cars and work on homologation rules, but it's not quite the same as a purpose modified race car, and you don't get liveries with them.
This is why I think Race Mod and a Livery Editor to go with it is so important to the future of Gran Turismo, and is something that could be a part of GT6 with a little work. In GT7 on PS4, this can be built in at the start, but you guys have to make some noise about it in order to nudge PD to put it closer to the top of their To Do list.
