I think most of your questions might be answered by reading the first post of the League Season 2 Thread.

As far as membership... yes it's open to new people, but I think I speak for everybody in saying we'd like to get a chance to race with you in some practice races before putting you in the roster. As much as possible, we try to keep the racing free of contact, and some people who claim to always race clean, are kidding themselves.

At least some of us are usually online in the early evenings most nights and during the day Saturday's and Sunday's. If you'd like to race with us just send out some PSN Friend Requests and we'll invite you for some practice sessions. 👍

This way we make sure we only get mostly clean racers.
And any that turn out to not be so clean driving are thrown out.

League is not for everyone, If you are a member who can reach 1:55:xxx in Road America with Aston Martin DBR 9 then probably League is not for you and you are looking for some fast guys. Send invite to RickyRacer7, myself and NITROVIOUS ill race you online.

1:55 :scared: That's alot quicker than I've ever done. Looks like I have some work to do...

It's OK to reach 1:55 at RA... It's not OK to cut corners and run over other racers to get to the front of the pack. The thing about Time Attacks is they teach you how to beat the track, they don't teach you how to race.

That is the truth. During TT there is no opponents, just clean track and you are on our own.

You will be having run over races non intentional, side scratching without being even noticing that for some races, just unavoidable.

I did 1:55:980 without cutting any corners, or going so wide to land on the grass/sand just not to lose time! I've never know when game gives me 5 sec penalty, so cutting corners is useless. I will post a video as soon my new HD camcorder arrive but probably not before Saturday League Race.

Are the no opstions on the DBR 9 for the time 1.55.xxx ?

My Time 2.02.430 every thing on hard and no options on the DBR9 Manuel gearing

On the PS3 version (and I can't verify this on the Xbox and PC versions) you can, in fact, set up AI opponents to run Time Attacks...I have set up to 10 opponents, though not at every track.

You have a choice of same car or same class, and I also believe the AI will run at whatever Difficulty level you have the AI set to, so you actually can get some Race Training during the TA sessions.

You can also set up races of varying lap lengths, once again with varying number of AI opponents and do the same. No stars, but you get some cash and Precision/Aggression points.

Of course I understand it's still not quite the same as racing against live drivers but for those who want to gain some race experience against other drivers before jumping into the Online fray, this is a decent enough way to get your feet wet.

The league is for people who dont CHEAT, and that is why you are no longer welcome there, to the OP if you race with traction control and stability control switched on then by all means race with Darkos because he only races with these aids switched ON :(

Not wanting to wade in on this argument but in my experience, having TCS and ASM on will actually slow down the better drivers.

Yes those are slowing down fast guys, and TC and SC are more disadvantage. Only Experienced mode can give you better time.

Not at tracks like Spa and the ring in high powered RWD cars.

Fair enough, I always turn it all off and drive manual as a matter of course as I feel I lose too much time in turns and miss the engine braking with the AT. A hang up from playing so much GT5p I guess. In fact I use the manual clutch too where possible, interestingly I notice quite a few of you guys use the AT which I find quite surprising (and thats genuine surprise, not having a go at anyone before anyone gets on the defensive )

Please don't be scared off from any of the drama that has found the way to your thread. Send me a PM and we will hook up for a private race...
