Ok I know I may sound like an idiot for asking this but, I don't know who make the radio that is in my car, I looked in the owner's manual, and all over the radio itself and can't find who makes it, maybe it's nissan but I doubt it.
anyways it's a 1993 Nissan 240SX (not fastback) if anyone can tell me I will be very happy, because once I know I can hook up the amp I have for my subs.

From my information, there are two possible AM/FM radios in your car. They are both made by Clarion. The optional CD player is made by Sony. If yiu have part numbers we could narrow it down to which specific radio you have. Hope this helps .

Yeah that helps a lot, I just need to see if I can hook up the amp I got, but I need to find something I forgot what its called but I hope that it is on their site if there is one.

the thing that I was looking to see was if it had a Pre-amp output. does anyone know if it does, because I cant find their site to look it up.

I don't know for sure, But I don't think it has a seperate pre-amp out. I'll check to see if I have an electrical schematic of the radio. I don't think I do, but I'll look.

No seperate pre-amp outputs on any of the possible radio's in your car. I'm not an expert , but why can't you just run your speaker outputs from the radio to the amp and then to the speakers? I'm guessing you are going to use speakers that can handle the extra wattage from the amp. How many watts are you talkin' here.

I am just going to hook up a 140 watt amp I dont really want a system I just had those speakers. I dont know the wattage on the radio in it now but I know its no enough.
