just wanted to get peoples opinions on it in the game. just had rain drift sesh in a 270hp s13 worked brilliantly

Yeah Comfort Hards is like having no grip at all so you can easilly get the car sideways.. it is good fun but it does get frusttrating with the higher powered cars lol

I did a "time attack" run of the nordschleife with a stock RX7 FD with the tires it came with stock (probably comfort soft), it was a drift fest.
I don't know about comfort hard tho with hi-powered cars, but all I can say is that rain drifting is fun! I might have to find AE86, full chassis and transmission tune it but remain the power stock and try it on a rainy track.

Im only just now warming up to drifting in the rain, its crazy fun and like Fadam said, a great way to learn throttle control.

i did it sometimes because imo a drifter should have atleast tried it. I have to get used to it for a couple of minutes but it works very good and is alot of fun.

I hate the rain simply because it feels more realistic for drifting then dry, I mean with just abit more grip thats the way the game should feel...very loose but smooth:ill:

Rain is amazing though I love it!

I love drifting in the rain, with a 400 hp cars, in a tandem line, it's epic. More power would be close to virtually suicide, so... keeps the cars quite even, and feels just great ^^

Try it with a 570 HP car with the big turbo lag :sly: If you have a fast right foot you can keep the turbo at medium pressure and control the car in rain :)

Rain drifting is fun, but I find it impossible to drift in a Nascar + Comfort Hard + Rain. Simply.. too.. imba..

No need, i'd suggest you pick yourself a nice looking S14 and get closer to my door. I'll wink at you, and bet you want to try it again? :D

Funny, I start fixed rain lobbies all the time and people go runnin'.

"Please change it to no rain!"

Usualy 90% of peeps runs away from:
- CH limited roms
- Rain tracks
- Custom tracks
- PP or HP limited lobbies
- Non Tsukuba lobbies.

Try Suzuka d1 in the rain, comfort hard, real track grip and 1021hp. Now that requires insane amounts of throttle control

Or that requires a really long ratio gearbox and keeping the car in 6th under rev.
That 350Z is not a D1 car its a car made for speed records, driven by Daijiro Inada (there has been fiew version because he kept crashing it).
