RainFX/SOL weather question

I was wondering if there's a setting, or something I can do to make it so starting wetness doesn't make me lose traction every time I'm on it. I like how it looks, but it always makes my cars spin out since I play on keyboard and mouse and its harder to make smaller turns and control it. Could someone tell me anything, like a setting on the game to make it so I can keep the look of the wet road but also keep the traction of my cars? (Also something I could do to change it back if I'd prefer the traction change for some reason.)
