Rally Car Spinout?

Ok one day i was doing the rally races. I was new to rallying so i didnt really know how to take the turns well. I was ahead of the 206 on the first tahiti maze course. On one of the last turns i took it to fast and spun out and hit the wall. I was pretty sure the race was over but i kept going anyway. I then noticed that the 206 was stopped on the minimap. When i arrived on his location he was spinning out. He never hit me so i probably didnt knock him off balance or anything. Has this happened to any of you?

yeah, i was doing an arcade rally race, i was in the Evo VII Rally and my opponent was the Evo VI Rally. On one lap when i came to lap him, he was facing the wall, spinning his rear wheels like mad!! How dumb are computer cars these days!! We were racing on Tahiti Maze.
