Hi folks

is there a utility thats available for download that i can use to test RAM for hardware errors?

windows 98..

If you're still on the original motherboard, then check your vendor's supplied discs, or your packaging.

The POST does basic RAM checking during startup, anything more detailed than that and you need to go to the vendor's diagnostic tools.

So, the CDs that shipped with the machine would be the first place I would look.
