It is 2012. The city is carlisle, uk. As the last taxi of the night rolls into the shadows, the driver is making little conversation. "This weather huh? I mean c'mon. Rain, then hotter than Ibiza? Wassup with that?" says the passenger. "It's messed up." the driver replied. The cab stops at the red light. "Silent one huh?" the passenger exclaimed. "Ehhh. It's just the night shift, Saturday night is like your monday morning. Torture." the driver remarked. "Ah. Sorry, what's your story?" said the passenger. "Ass hole as a kid, beat up a lot when I was in collage, failed all courses and ended up here. You?" a short sweet story from the driver. "My names Mark, I am a business man from London. Whats your na-" Mark was cut short by the car hitting a lamppost.
A sickening crunch. The fuel had ignited. The flames consumed the car, trapping the occupants and burning the flesh they wear.
4 minutes later the emergency services arrived. A helicopter took the driver away. Mark survived, he stepped out of the wreckage. "I don't die easy." The onlooking policeman stood in silence. His reaction was a one of fear. No one else noticed.
He jumped on a police bike and purred off, the shocked policeman then snapped out of his trance and jumped into the helicopter. The beating blades hit the dust off of the ground, the onlooking people were scrambling for safety, the Sargent slid behind the ambulance. The helicopter flew off after Mark, the motorway was clear and the blue lights flashed in the night, not hard to find for the gunship.
Locked on. The helicopter launched its first assault, a barrage of Nz-12 missiles. None hit but all tore up the road after the bike. Mark wasn't giving up, he wound the throttle back to the stop and hit 100mph. The second assault came instantly, 14 Magnesium-cased rounds with nitro glycerine in each one. The first hit the light. Launching the bike upwards, again. Mark just jumped off of the motorcycle and ran. The third barrage was a cluster storm attack know simply as "NeverMiss". It hit Mark square on. But after the smoke cleared he was still there.
"I never die. You never survive." mark shouted. Then, out of his arm came metal spikes with red tips. "No!" shouted the pilot. At that instant Mark launched his attack. 300000 volts of pure energy shocked the helicopter forcing it to fail. It descended like a brick and burned like a campfire.
Yet, they have only felt a tiny amount of Marks power.
