Random PC restart, need help >_<

Very randomly, my PC would restart itself usually under a load playing games. When it freezes, you can hear this noise that my headphone or speaker makes when it happens. It sounds like this: DaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaA (Like some machine gun in counterstrike being fired nonstop with no reloading) then my PC restarts itself. Sometimes when I proceed to go back to the game it froze and restarted on, I LOSE MY ENTIRE SAVED DATA AND MUST START ALL OVER AGAIN. :nervous:

This is what I get from the event viewer when it happens:

Error code 0000009c, parameter1 00000004, parameter2 80545ff0, parameter3 b2000000, parameter4 00070f0f.

This was classified by System Error. Category 102. Event 1003

I have no idea what it means. :nervous:

This is what I also get from MS when I do that report Error stuff and clicking some buttons.

BCCode : 9c BCP1 : 00000004 BCP2 : 80545FF0 BCP3 : B2000000
BCP4 : 00070F0F OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

It also says problem could be:

CPU, Harddrive, RAM, Motherboard.

My setup:

AMD Athlon 3200+ 64
PNY GeForce 6600 GT PCI-E
GigaByte i-DNA (GA-K8N51GMF-9)
Antec Smartpower 2.0 (500 watt power supply)
4x Kingston DDR 512MB 3200
Maxtor 6Y250P0 250 BG hardrive

I am in need in desperate need!!! plz help.

I don't even know if my PC have sufficient cooling. The cooling stuff is simply the stock fans that came with the case.

That is my case, except its silver instead of black:

I have also went into the Bios thing to look at my CPU and case temp.

Case says its 93 degress while CPU says 111 degrees, but after watching it for 3 minutes, it slowly goes to 113 degrees. I am not sure if it would keep on moving upwards though.

God could only hope your meaning Fahrenheit. Celsius is the standard for measuring computer temperatures. If your CPU is reading 113*C, it's probably about to 'splode.

Your temperatures seem alright. Try leaving the side of your case off for a bit and see if that helps. If it does, you've probably got an overheating problem.

Alright I'll try that method of leaving the side of the case off. I will also try putting a house fan blowing inside of it too. 👍
