Random permanent vibration with the CSL Elite RW.

Yesterday I participated in two championship races, the steering wheel suddenly began to vibrate uncontrollably and permanently in both events. The vibration is as strong as understeer only just permanent. Steering is then no longer possible. I have to turn off the steering wheel and then turn it on again and reregister it at the playstation so it works again. Once it occurred at the beginning of the first race when all the drivers were presented. And the second time it happened in the middle of the second race after I drove out of the pits, which ruined my race. It seems like certain loading or synchronization processes of the game trigger this failure.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes, happened twice to me.

I was in practice in Sports Mode. Made a mistake, went off track, pressed start to reset the session and the wheel started rattling loudly, even when going straight.

I thought it had something to do with my off track excursions but sounds it's not just that.

Yeah this is an issue a few have run into and has been brought up in the Fanatec forums so Fanatec is definitely aware and will be able to relay to PD.

Like with many bugs like this, it is probably something both are already aware of and are working on a fix. Just takes time to figure out how to replicate and find the root cause.
