I believe they are meant to be that way. It was a easier way to fix something for $500 rather then having the suspension be stiffer and not as much travel and have it bounce and possibly make you roll. Then to make a section bend and fix it.

Exactly. Ford's reaction to the bent frames was "It's supposed to do that". Apparently they designed the truck to absorb the shock of a hard landing through the frame, instead of the shocks bottoming out so hard that it bounces the rear end up and putting you into roll over. Ford has started attending meets for these trucks to help inform owners of it's limitations.

It's not bullet proof.

Big fan of the Raptor here too. Not least because people seem to really use and abuse them, a bit like people do with Land Rover Defenders over here. It's not just for tarts posing about on high streets.

Thanks guys. And I'm very familiar with that raptor story, but if you watch the speed they were driving through the trail, it's pretty obvious ANYTHING outside of a dedicated race machine would have come back like that!

I want you to know that I have always been a die hard chevy fan.
I have hated fords my entire life.
I still have to admit though I hate you! I never paid much attention to ford untill this! Grrrrrrrrrr. Wait that's probably how she idles right there lol.

Always loved Fords SVTs and this is the best one yet. Nice crossplane R1 also.
