I'm really happy with this car, it is easy to tune and I'm sure my humble offering here is far from ideal - but it has been a useful all purpose set-up for my Raybrig NSX. Alot of times I do tone down the power so it doesn't lap the competition so often! This is a great cornering car as well as being straight line fast. It also looks nice. I tried these settings on my Arta NSX too and they seem to work well (though I haven't driven that one very much yet). :burnout:

these settings are pretty sweet. not only do they work out well for the raybrig, but they're pretty solid on the Castrol Mugen and not too too shabby on the Penzoil GT-R and the Castrol Tom's Supra

Thanx for the settings dude...I'll give them a try....:gcar:

Seeing as you are a fan of this car I'm betting these settings are gonna be sweet....:smilewink

Cheers

hmm maybe ill try them i have mine fulll mod out and i dont like it much. i really feel that the raybrig is a waste of time but ill try it, i mean its purple!

I'd like to make a few small suggestions.

Try boosting the Final drive more. Say 4.454, and moving the Auto setting higher, as well as boosting the Down force. This may help taking corners. As well as leaning the camber (F) to about 3.1. Throw the raer toe to -0.5.

Try it out on Medium tires in the arcade Free run, and you should notice a bit of change in your times.

The LSD settings, and the Brakes are right on. ALso, It make take a moment to get used to it, but it helps to drop the TCS to 1 or Zero.

Running the LSD like that, with the TCS up high, it tends to give you a slower acceleration out of the corners.

I used very similar settings to run Grand Valley, and was amazed that with the tuning changes I made, I was able to loose 3 seconds.

i was just wondering how fast this car does a 1000 meters? iam trying to create an awesome drag car, with the raybrig, using only 667 hp. does anyone know the settings that would get it through 1000 meters in 18.020 seconds (with only 667hp)?
oh yeah iam new so how ya all doin?

i have a quick question. please dont think im dumb. i dont know how to tune my cars in gt3. please someone tell me how. i also dont know how to make a new post cause im new to this site. pleae help me with that too.

is it u cant figure out how to tune yyour car or you know how just not like what ou should change, cause if its how to tune just go before a race and g to settings or u can go to run and settings in the home menu. about the post thing just click post reply or if u want a new topic click post thread obviously

Hello,

I'm driving a stock-engine Raybrig NSX in the Pro Japanese Championship and the competition is very though.
It seems like the other competitors have more horsepower considering their top speed and acceleration after corners.
With a good pitstop strategy and setups for cornering I was able to win half of the races, especially the technical tracks but now I'm running on the Tokyo circuit and I'm 6+ seconds slower than the pole.
Can anyone help me with suitable settings taking into account the stock-engine (416 hp) ?

Right now I'm first in the champ, 48 points, 4 ahead of the runner-up with two races to go; Tokyo and Cote d'Azur (Monaco)

Thanks

Welcome to GTPlanet, HF!

Phoo, good luck (I mean it, not being sarcastic). You don't by any chance have NA/1 tuninup put away that you could install? Monaco may or may not be a problem, but at R246 the JGTC cars always seem hooked up, and it's such a horsepower track with all those long straights...

I used the Oreca Viper for the All-Japan Pro, but I ran the Raybrig in the Amateur series. Here are my settings if they'll help you:

Stock horsepower
T4 Medium Slicks (this will mean you have to pit; T2s might last)

Springs: 16.5/20.0
Ride Ht: 60/60
Bound: 4/4
Rebound: 7/7
Camber: 3.0/1.5
Toe: +0.5/-0.5
Stabilizers: 4/4
Brakes: 11/11

Downforce: 1.00/1.25

Autoset: 28
F/D: 4.400
LSD: 10/40/20
ASM: 0
TCS: 1

This setup was good for 1':36.xxx"-1':38.xxx" laps. Hope this helps!

Thanks neon_duke,

I used your settings to mix them with mine and now I'm running this:

Stock horsepower (464 instead of 416, checked it)
T3 Medium Slicks (I'll try to run the T2s)

Springs: 20.0/16.8
Ride Ht: 47/47
Bound: 4/4
Rebound: 10/10
Camber: 2.5/0.1
Toe: +0.5/0.0
Stabilizers: 7/7
Brakes: 5/5

Downforce: 0.69/0.68

Autoset: 28
F/D: 3.160
LSD: 10/40/20
ASM: 0
TCS: 0

This setup was good for 1':35.960", the pole being 1':32.594", still a long way to go, but I'm getting closer, but the horsepower gap is still there as I don't have any NA/1 tuningup available.

I think there's still some progression possible ...

The other thing that can help for very marginal races is to run the softest tires you have for qualifying, then switch to T2s for the actual race. The Raybrig will go 10 laps on T2s without pitting, and I suggest that. Plus the farther front you can start the fewer seconds you'll lose at the very beginning of the race.

If I may make a suggestion, I'd try running more downforce. It will cost you top speed on the front straight, but I suspect that you'll be able to carry a lot more speed through all the sweepers on the back side of the course, and get a better overall lap time.

Once you get past this race I bet it will get easier again. It usually does. You'll cream them at Grand Valley, even with less power. Good luck!

I had to sit the race out, 6th, on T2's, no pitting.

I think I'll use these settings with extra downforce for the 2-hour race on R246

Cote d'Azur was a piece of cake with the same settings but with max downforce and other gear-ratios. Was able to lap some and took the championship.

Thanks for the advice!
