# READ ME #: WRS Race Deadline Day

As was mentioned by people in my previous poll regarding submission time, if changes are going to be made then we might as well get them all out of the way right now. So I'm gonna ask the question now as to which day you would prefer to submit your WRS race, I have no real preference so I leave this decision to you guys. Just keep in mind that the submission time, regardless of day, will likely become:

• -07 Los Angeles: 04:00
• -05 Toronto: 06:00
• -04 New York/Brazil?: 07:00
• +00 London: 11:00
• +01 Paris/Berlin/Rome: 12:00
• +11 Sydney/Melbourne: 22:00

(Which oddly enough is about 10 minutes after I posted this poll)

i voted sunday but only because i know, colby, that it's your preference. you can pick any day of the week you like.

Originally the deadline was in the week-end if I remember well. It was moved to Tuesday because some racers had only access to the Internet at work, so they had to submit on Fridays and couldn't race in the week-end because the next race wasn't posted yet.
If it's still the case for some of us, then a deadline during the week is worth being considered.
Other than that, Colby can choose whatever suits his schedule. I have no preference and therefore won't vote.

I voted for Sunday, I have access to internet both home and at school and in the weekend gives me much more time 👍

Voted Wednesday, but any day between wednesday and friday is fine for me - or early saturday (which would be late saturday for Colby).

Reasons:
PC Access: At all times, not a problem.
PS2 Access: Sunday-tuesday, sometimes saturday, too. There's a catch - I've got school untill 4PM on monday, and 7PM on sunday. So normally, only 1 1/2 days of GT4, with some laps squeezed in somewhere.
Monday-Tuesday could then be dedicated to WRS'ing, without having to make a big pause in between...
Therefore: Since there's no PS2 on wednesday-friday, I can submit happily, without knowing that I could've raced some more. I can then jump into the new combo, after splits and tips have already been posted.

But really, whatever suits you, Colby. Make yourself comfy.

Righty-o, with voting at 25 to 4 in support of me changing the time for submissions in this thread, the only thing left to do is determine the day of submission.

Please if you get a chance, indicate your preference for the day you would like to submit. If you have no preference then that's okay. If there is no clear need for a move then the day will remain as is 👍

As I said, wednesday-friday would be best, but anything but tuesday is good, too.

I don't have any problems with it being on Tuesdays(like now), but there wouldn't be anything wrong with a Wednesday either, if that suits others better. I like having it during the week though.

Actually, if it works with your schedule Colby, I think leaving it exactly where it is would be best. There are going to be a lot of wrongly submitted times for the next few months I'd think if the deadline changes. Not many people race every week, or even pay attention to the threads outside the specific race threads(I almost didn't see this thread), nor take a really close gander at the non-changing rules in each new race week...

Yeah the more I think about it the more I don't see any need to move it, I'm happy with Tuesday's and less disturbance to everyone is probably a good thing 👍

Wednesday would fit better then - people in europe will still be able to keep they're old schedule of Tuesday-Night sessions... It will also prevent people from missing the time they usually submit.

I think moving the day would end up causing more trouble than it's worth. WRS'ers have always known Tuesday was submission day and so we'll stick with that 👍

well andrew will be happy to hear that (viewing the poll). but me too, i voted that colby choose whatever would suit him best.
i set my no rules races deadline to wednesday so that participants could spend some time racing final laps before submitting without having to decide for the one competition or the other.
and i also agree that leaving the day as it is while other stuff is changing would be best.
