Real Car Cockpit + G25 + PS3

Hi guys,
HAs been a while since i have posted on this forum so forgive me if i ha reposting, but has anyone bought a car and planted the g25 wheel inside?

is it possible to remove the wheel off the g25 and replace with the cars wheel?

Reason being, a half of a recent model car has come for sale near me that suffered from rear damage but is already cut in half and all i would have to do is enclose the back, take out the auto shifter, mount the g25 shifter, mount wheel and pedels and mount a screen on the bonnet.

I already have the ps3, is the g25 the best wheel for it or are there any more being released?

Yea this looks quite similar, just the car i would have would have all the original interior parts. Which again brings my question up

Can i replace the g25 wheel with the original cars wheel? So you wouldnt even know your driving a simulator?

I know that Frex can mod a racing steering wheel to work on a specially modded Driving Force Pro steering wheel controller. I wonder if they can do the same for the G25. It wouldn't hurt to go to the Frex website and ask around there.

Frex is NOT modding the G25 I'm sorry to say...This was brought up just prior to the G25 coming out and was asked over on the "RaceSimCentral" website....specifically under the "Frex" forum and a representative from Frex clearly stated that they (Frex) were going to now devote their time/attention to producing their own PC Race Wheel and would only continue modifying existing DFP's....Shame really, as I really enjoy my modded Frex DFP and would have loved to see Frex continue their great work on the G25.

Doing something like this has been a small daydream of mine since I was a lil kid. That Kolthar website has an awesome setup, something like I have always imagined. Anything is possible, Aussie, it'll just take some time and a lil bit of money.
