Gran Turismo is well stocked with a large number of race cars from various leagues, though some more than others. I would love to see in a Gran Turismo game that all these cars and their associated leagues would be supported with something resembling race series within these leagues. Single player events which are a mini-season of each league which run on league appropriate courses, and use league appropriate cars. This will require Polyphony to supply the game, most likely GT7, with enough race courses, and vehicles for a full grid - and NO duplicate cars, please! Not to forget, bot AI should be improved. Proper point to point WRC Rally racing would be a different matter, though Rallycross wouldn't. Restrictions, rules, penalties, damage, the whole thing.

Who wouldn't want to race for a championship in the following?
  • BTCC/WTCC
  • World Rally
  • NASCAR
  • American LeMans
  • The numerous FIA GT classes
  • DTM (previously listed here)
  • Super GT 300/500
  • Formula GT
And along with these, fantasy leagues reflecting motorsports organizations like America's SCCA, GT Academy, and leagues which would support Race Modified cars of any performance level and any type, from Civics to Lamborghinis. In particular, I'd love to see an Asia GT allowing us to race cars like the Spirra and Cizeta, which make great race cars, along with the usual Nissans, Hyundais, Mazdas and Toyotas. Also, since vintage race cars are included in the car roster, historic racing seasons could be part of the action.

While this could be an extension patched into GT6, I'd really like to see this be built into GT7 and all subsequent Gran Turismos.
