Okay, i'll wait till Joe sees this and ask. And yes, more city tracks and real world circuits *coughs* SPA! *coughs* would be great. Also being a NASCAR fan, I'd love a short oval track such as Bristol Speedway, although this almost definitely won't happen :P

That would be a lot cooler than a generic Tokyo Kart Track designed as a NASCAR short track, which no one tends to like at all.

This looks like it is shaping up well. Are you really using Comfort Tires? I never tried them on a FGT. How do they fare with the handling?

Wasn't there a Koenigsegg that was modeled released before GT5 in photomode?
Not sure but its a beast of a car :)
I am more interested in more tracks TBH, thats what makes the game IMO.

It doesn't affect the cornering too much really, the main difference is they create a bit more wheel spin like Indy cars IRL. Yep, it's unlikely to happen but A 16 car race at Bristol would be insane  I would also like some Britsh tracks in there too, such as Brands Hatch, Donnington, maybe Silverstone y'know PD? The British GP?

Anyway, looks like we're on for Friday then 👍

On for friday Tom 👍
I think most of the F1 tracks have a sole licence to the F1 brand or something, Donnington would be cool though.

I agree, would be awesome to get a few BTCC tracks on there. Donnington is a great circuit, I've got family in that area who have raced there in the past :)

I'm a regular at brands, and there this Sunday for the BTCC. Would love to see this.

I'll try for Friday as well guys.

Brands Hatch is a track I'd also love to see, will definitely be watching this weekend. Awesome mate, we'll most likely be in Joe's lounge unless he has connection issues.

Brands is a place I have never been, saw the superbikes and sidecars at Donnington years ago though, happy times. I walked through the paddock and sat on some of the bikes it was cool. Nearest track to me is Anglesea Circuit, the one they use on 5th gear and I have been to see sports car racing and rally cars there, google it, its pretty cool. If you do, watch the track videos they are some pretty fast caterhams and the 'off' at the end is quite amusing :)

I've also been to Brands a couple of times for touring cars.

My internet connection seems to be slowly getting better as time goes on. It's still not great right now, but it's better than it was last night. Yesterday it was fine until about 8pm, when it decided to change between normal, slow, and nothing, every 5 minutes. Today it was fine until 10pm, and it's been going between normal and slow since then.

Apparently my current issues are normal for the first 10 days of having set up internet in a new house. This means that it should be back to normal by next thursday at the latest.

Well, hopefully we won't have to re-do our testing. It's going to be "Spec II" or "2.0" so that implies major changes.

I don't think spec 2.0 will be a problem. The only thing that may affect us (would also affect absolutely everyone else too) is if they finally fixed the suspension settings. (If you don't know, the suspension settings are the wrong way round, the settings for the front are settings for the rear and vice versa, though I believe the camber and toe settings are correct.)

If the flag system finally makes it in (could be made to show a waving yellow flag back in the GT5 demo, and the feature hasn't been seen since that demo), then we'd probably have to do some testing.

EDIT: My internet seems a little bit faster here than where I was before. We should be good for tomorrow night, though I'm waiting to see if my connection becomes rubbish again later tonight, like it has the past 2 days.

EDIT: It's been good all day. Should definitely be good for tomorrow.

I have no idea why they removed the flag system. Great, so it's your lounge tonight by the sounds of it 👍

Yep. The only time my connection is bad is usually when I first try to get online with something each day. I just move the router a little bit and it's good again.

EDIT: I still have incompatibility issues with some people though. 👎

I know it's not 10 yet, but whenever you guys are ready let me know. I'm all set to go :)

Sorry guys, disconnected from the lobby server. Good safety car run through though! Robbed of victory at the end :)

We finished testing cautions and also had a couple of 4 lap races at Laguna Seca.

4 caution laps seems good for Indy (start speed of 80mph, caution speed of 100mph), and 3 will be fine at Daytona due to the pitlane being shorter (start/caution speed of 100mph). Road courses will be 2, due to their length compared to ovals (start/caution speed of 70mph). We still need to decide what will bring out cautions on road courses, as there will be plenty of single car incidents (with some happening simultaneously in the same place) I'm sure.

However, when we tested today I confused the 100mph and the 80mph for Indy, and we were going 80mph on cautions. I don't think you'll have enough time for to take on a full tank of fuel with the caution/restart speed at 100mph. So perhaps we should try 80mph for everything at Indy.

Yes definitely 80mph for Indy seemed fine. The racing was good fun though, even if I can't keep 4 comfort tyres on the track 👎

Don't worry about the 80/100 mph thing. 100mph is still fine for cautions. I just tested it and the safety car laptimes are 20 seconds quicker than before. This will still let you come out the pits at turn 2 30 seconds maximum ahead of the safety car. If you're the last car in/out of the pits, you may have only 10 seconds, but this is still enough.
