So he failed at BAR because he spent money like an eskimo spends snow.

but still Craig "I don't know the value of a dollar" Pollock is currently rumoured to be taking over Prost for this year for as little as $500,000 and running the AP04 with a Ferrari2k

While this would get him the assets of the team without the debts, where's he going to find the money to run it. The team not, asuming I understand the rules, recieve any TV money and he still has no sponsers.

Drivers would presumably be Jos and a VERY rich pay driver.

Gotta just be bollocks but I had to mention it.

but also a very good oppurtunity (if that amount of money is true for more then just Pollock) for another team to get into F1...

I heard a rumour that Ove Andersson was about to step down, and Pollock would be taking over the helm at Toyota.

Why would Andersson want to step down just as his team reaches the very pinnacle of its career? Why would Toyota bring in an untrusted person when they've been working with Andersson for 30 years?

Seems like lunacy to me, but this is "The Wild and Illogical Rumours" thread!

Pollock isn't on his own - he has investors supporting him but I think it is a great idea if it gets the team back in F1.
