Rear View Mirror Question

I noticed that many of the cars in F4 (and GT5) have rear view mirrors that are useless. I love the F40 but I just get a peek at the edge of the mirror.

I remember seeing in past driving games the option to put a nice wide rear view mirror at the top of the TV screen outside of the car. It looked the same no matter what car you were in.

Is that option in F4? If so, how do I implement it?

If not, is it worth getting a Kinect for rear view mirrors?

That option, to my knowledge, is only available in bumper view. I doubt you can add the generic rear view mirror to the cockpit view.

On the other hand, you could always just turn on the multi display setting and set it to a rather high value. 90° a rather wide field of view, so the rear view mirror should be perfectly usuable.

WoW, I tried the 90 degree multi display setting and it is different!

But alas, it's a bit too weird.

I saw a video where a person had the 3 screen setup with a small separate screen that was the rear view mirror. It looked great but I think I saw a posting that said that arangement slowed down the frame rate. ?

If anybody here has used Kinect with F4 does it help with rear view?

has anyone tried using the newer Esprit with a roll cage? God the view is so horrible with it, it takes up so much space haha. Cant even see the mirror.

Have they even fixed the rear view mirror? The reflection was flipped in FM3
