Reinstalling?!

I want to re-install NFS to a different hard drive, but i'm wondering if i'll keep my saves/cars.
If there is a way to get my save file out of the game files please tell me which files I need and i'll just copy those over to the new install.

Your save files are in a folder in your documents library. Uninstalling/reinstalling to different location shouldn't interfere with any of your saves. In fact, I have saves for Need for Speed Prostreet still in my library dating back to 2007 despite having uninstalled/reinstalled several times.

Aah thanks man, I just wanna be really sure about this, I don't want to lose my cars and their wraps especially ^^
I haven't been able to find those save files yet, which is why I want to be really sure no saves get removed.
I trust this works with origin aswell?

Now that I'm home, I am looking at the location where I expected the save game files to be and they aren't listed, so I apologize... I'm gonna have to do some digging to find out where they are...

... Okay, so best I can tell your save files are stored in the cloud with Origin. I'm not 100% sure on that because this is the first game I've needed Origin for and so I have no prior experience with it. But I BELIEVE what you are looking for is going to be something like C:/Users/*Username*/AppData/Local/Origin/Cloud Saves

... I am running Windows 7. You may have to unhide your files/folders in order to see the AppData folder. I think it's hidden by default.

Maybe someone with more experience with Origin can chime in on this question.

Thanks alot man, this actually worked.
I also had a friend of mine reinstall it to another drive, cause he hadnt really played it yet and it worked like that too, since it probably indeed the origin cloud that saves it.
But I was doubting the whole origin cloud story, cause I really do not trust origin it has always only caused problems to my PC before ^^
