Oh also keep in mind. If you upgrade the engine at all with certain parts or even swap the engine, you will no longer be able to view the engine. So if you do ever want to check a car out, do it before you start swapping engines or engine parts. I will add this to my previous reply.

Yeah I know. I bought the car (it's actually free the first time, like other DLC) and went straight to Vista.

I was just in the middle of setting a hot lap about 100 yards from the finish line and up on my best lap when the screen goes black and it says Forza needs an update... So much for my good lap I guess... That is unbelievable that it would do this in the middle of a run.

Edit: It gets worse, now it appears to be stuck on updating at 97% so not only did it mess up my hot lap but now I am unable to start the game. It has been setting at 97% for a while now and does not appear to be doing anything.

It was stuck for me too. Just launch it from the games menu.

I just loggen in to find I've earned the bronze painting badge with just the two Celicas. The red and white one is overwhelmingly more popular, which I sort of expected.

Thanks to everyone who downloaded. It's motivation to keep creating. :)

Edit: Logged in, but I'm leaving it.

Can anyone explain to me what happens once you hit a Level 25 affinity for a manufacturer?

Do you get a permanent pit crew bonus?

I have a strange way of playing in that I take affinity as a reminder that I'm using a particular manufacturer too much.

I like Lamborghini so I used them a heap and now they're Lev 25.

To gravitiate towards one compnay means you miss out on other smaller makes. I dont like Volvo but I like their STCC and V8SC race cars so I use them as much as I can.

Huh, I just noticed that rivals mode finally has the color issue on the cars fixed. Before, if I selected any other color than the default color in rivals mode; the car would stay in its default color when I get on the track.

Noticed this to the other day, and thank lord T10 fixed it. ^v^

You receive an ultra rare bonus mod you can equip for the campaign that gives you 50% more money and I believe 25% more traction.

I have 3 almost 4 manufactures at 25 affinity. So now, similar to what you are doing, I am trying to avoid those manufacturers and use other cars instead.

Surprisingly I have not used the ultra affinity rare bonus yet. I probably will when I do another endurance. But other than that, once you hit the max affinity, you don't get anything else any more other than the ultra rare mod for campaign.

Oh nice this is fixed? Even with the rivals that pick specific cars for the event? I haven't been in rivals in about a week. I am trying to avoid getting hooked on it again. Plus I have been hooked on league play.

Yup, last night; I did a rivals event with an Aston Martin V12 Vantage and selected green as a color. When I go to the track; it stayed green. :D

That's good. I have only ran two of the ones where I could not bring my own car but in both cases I had picked a different color but ended up in the default color. I will have to try one of the others now.

I really prefer the time attack rivals over the canned ones though

Attempted leagues last night and at the beginning of the race, 3 races in a row, my controller disconnected. :ouch::mad:

So I am pretty sure one of my battery packs are starting to die. So I picked up about 20 rechargeable batteries that I will start swapping if one of my battery packs are dead. The charger and back lasted a year so I guess that's not terrible. Still would have liked it to last more than a year.

Protip: eneloops

its about $15-$20 a pack of 8 x AA here so closer to $10 in your real money

i buy heaps for cameras and watevs... havent had a single one die yet

I don't use Eneloops, but I user Energizer rechargeable. Always have 4 full charged, and 4 on stand-by to be charged when one set died. Recently though, I've just been using a microusb so I haven't even touched them. Forza has been a battery drainer since FM5, with the rumble triggers.

I just bought the Energizer rechargeable battery pack with extra batteries.

I also agree the batteries get consumed very fast while playing Forza.

This is what I have and I bought 8 extra to go with it and will be buying even more next time I go to the store. Between the lan parties, Rock band 4 wireless instruments, and everything else, rechargeable batteries are a must and always have been at my house.
