Relieving stress on your PS3 grinding

So, I just wanted to see if anybody else does that and/or if it makes any difference at all...

During the longer B-Spec races (9Hr, 24Hr), instead of letting it sit on the replay cameras the entire time eating up GPU, I just let it sit on the Lap Times screen and the PS3 only really has to render a 1x1" box of gameplay instead of the entire screen

I figure it may save the life of your system by some small amount, but who knows. Anyone else have any speculation on this?

You could have searched and you would have found that the camera select screen is even better.
