Remember when Bush proposed to enact a bill postponing the November elections in an event of an attack?

OMG, an attack on America by terrorists is done to take away our freedoms. And with a postponed election, that kinda contradicts everything we believe in right?

Bush never proposed such a bill. In fact name one bill that a president has proposed. Any president.

Hahaha good one dumbass...learn how the government works. Or hell at least pay attention in school, they do teach you stuff.

I remember when people made up whatever they felt like and claimed it as fact, all the while accusing other people of doing the same thing.

Like the Presidental Race ....

This subject has been shot down (and instantly none the less).

Government is for schools to teach, I am not going to lecture.

However, I suggest that you (s0nny80y) brush up on the American Government's structure before starting up topics like this.

Or better yet... Think through you wording more carefully.

I understand your question.

What do you all think of the possibility that the november election could be post-poned if a terrorist attack were to occur?

Too bad this thread is now being closed. :(

Sorry to have had it work out like this, but may it be a lesson to all... (you figure out the lesson! )

Oh and just for the record...
When you are sure a terrorist attack will occur, you generally try to avoid massing people together in large public events. ;)
(just a little "public safety" for ya! )

And of course it would be one hell of a job to deal with emergency response to a terrorist attack while at the same time running a presidential election!!!!
