remote race: cant find drivers?

i have a problem with remote racing. When I try to initiate a race i can get as far as the driver selct screen, add my driver. But when I come to add my friends by clicking on the plus my friend shows up but it gives the message "cannot find drivers". The strange thing is that it works when I am on the PS3 (aka not in standby via a pc) and i can use my friends drivers this way. Any ideas?

I had this same issue, I was using chrome for my browser (both my work PC and home PC). Then I tried using IE and it worked fine, there may be a cookie issue or some caching issue but I haven't tried clearing everything just yet since it works in IE..good enough for me for now.

Basically I think it's either a chrome issue or caching / cookies..
