Remote races Biased to the host?

Ok first this is a question so im not sure its in the right place but it is about remote B-Spec.

So as some of you may have read we have a little gambling game going on at work and us gamers are keeping "stables" of drivers for the non gamers to get involved with.

Ive been "riding my stable out" using the exploit. Ie set up a second account and race the main accounts Bobs on it for XP.

All my Bobs but 1 were level 0 when I started this because I wasnt a massive B-Spec'er.

What Im finding now however is that the Bob on the Second account is winning a disproportionate amount of races given that hes racing against 5 other BOBS from my GTP_ account.

What Im finding is that the Host accounts bob that started at 0 has now won 4 from 20 races. The Bob I had at level 19 has won 5 and the other 11 races are shared between the other 4 BOBs that started on level 0 at the same time as the Host Bob.

Either I hit on the perfect formula for a BOB driver when I set up his "attitude" or the remote races are Biased towards the host?

Thoughts?

I would say no. My Host Bob is getting his tail kicked repeatedly by my core account Bobs. He's being a kind host apparently, but I'm still waiting on them to be polite guests.

I also would say no, have a look at the cars that are winning and the same cars come out on top often no matter who is driving so the random draw of the car is the biggest factor IMO

I'm running the Aston martin race right now and my low level bob has one of the best cars (W12 nardo), started up front, but fell back into distant last. So I have to say no, I imagine it mostly depends on driver level and having a good car.

I dont think its biased towards the host winning no but with the host having the ability to pick what drivers take place from his or hers friends list im sure its usually swinging towards the host picking competition that shouldn't be too tough y'know. I mean you're hardly going to put your level 10 bob up against 15 that are level 40 are you ;)

Agreed, being the host has the advantage of picking opponents. Most of my bob's that people race come in 3rd-7th but hey it is free xp and money. I think it is really cool.

I disagree.
A lot of it has to do with the cars. Just run the the 12 lap Trial Mountain Race and see who wins. I'm betting on the VW W12 Nardo Concept. My level 40 Bob always gets beat by this car when I am hosting.
I just finished this race again and the VW won with a level 27 driver against my level 40.

I've had my level 40 Bob get smoked by plenty of Bobs 1/2 his level.... Even when I drew the long straw on a well performing car.

I've ran plenty of Daytona events with the stock cars as well. Even when every car on the field is virtually identical performance wise, my level 40 Bob does not seem to have any advantage over lower level Bobs.

The only exception I've ran across so far is Suzuka. My Bob usually wins that one if he starts within the top half of the pack.

I don't think there is a bias at all. I use typically the same crew of BOBs from my friend list and there isn't any consistent winner. Starting position means a lot but that us probably obvious.

I haven't found any bias at all - I run the stock car/Daytona race most of the time, and since the cars are pretty much identical, I find the distribution of wins is roughly in line with the level of the driver i.e. I have a level 8 Bob host a race on my 2nd account, and he consistently comes in last against my other Bobs who are between 26-30 :D

Actually thats exactly what I do, I doesnt matter if you win, You get rewarded by how many positions you gain in a race. You will always take home some credits and XP even for last place. Plus low level drivers level up fairly fast with these events, and some level 40 drivers are already losing performance (the green bars get smaller and start to turn gray).

I run the 12 Lap Trial Mountain a ton and I agree with you about the Nardo concept, it is unreal. I think I could put a level 0 Bob in it and he would probably win if he could keep it on the track...

No dice my level 0 driver in the W12 nardo got wooped. Oh and he kept it on the track just fine, he was just extremely slow with it. He got passed like he was driving the '99 Aston Martin Vantage.
