Remove HD videos

Installed size of GT6 is 14 GB now with 1.09. I have a 80 GB PS3 so 14 GB can be considered as excessive. With every new update I must choose which game to uninstall to make room for GT6.

Can at least the HD videos be removed please? And I mean all, the GT versions... the Senna videos... make them all online...

14 GB is what the XMB says, If I look the size of the installed files from GT6 menus, it says 4 GB. There are 10 Gb which GT6 don't report.

VGT & Senna videos are online already, so I don't see any reason to force players to save those videos on their PS3.

With hard-drives so cheap these days, just clone your data to a 500gb one and swap that in.
From working in the field, I also don't trust a HDD's integrity after 2-3 years of constant use. So I assume your 80GB is older than that.

I think it's because in future versions of GT6 sold on disk it will have all the updates like the XL edition, for people who don't have online how will they watch the videos then?

That's the reason I don't want them removed. I can't watch them unless they are pre-loaded.

I've had the original 250 gb HD in my PS3 for about 5 years. No failures except the other day the blu-ray lens died.

With the base game, it's literally 15GB, and with the updates, the entire game will now be over 20GB, and since more updates are coming, it will get larger, up to 30GB. (This is proof that GT6 is really the biggest game in the PS3.)

All of the vision GT videos should be removed. As a gamer I want to play my game as quickly as possible, and the videos get in the way of that. However, the Senna videos should stay, because Kaz was trying to do something informative and show his respect for Senna.

Hmmm.... What should stay, what should go.....? I think that we will have to bow to HD at this point, and the desire of the builders to have their videoos watched. Until the people who put them out degrade them for those NOT using a high-end connection, HD is PAINFUL to watch.
