So, do you remember that Renault Sport has just teased its Nismo-powered "Trophy Racer" 2 months ago? If you do, then Renault Sport has just teased again, now called the R.S. 01. What we know all about this is that its engine is a GT-R-powered 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that charges up to 500 bhp (373 kW), mated with a 7-speed Sadev sequential gearbox, a carbon-fiber monecoque built by Dallara, and a set of tires by Michelin with 18-inch Braid wheels. Also that this will race on the World Series by Renault, which will introduce a new race category next year. So, who wants a "simply spectacular race car " on GT6 or future GTs? If you want it, then vote now!
Specs :
Engine: 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine
Power output: 500hp (373 kW)
Torque output: 600Nm
Transmission: 7-speed Sadev sequential gearbox
Chasdis/body: Dallara-built Carbon-fiber monecoque
Weight: 1,100 kg (2,425 lbs.)

What a fantastic looking thing. Actually, it has several elements of what I would expect to see on the upcoming Alpine sports-car.

It would be great to get this so we can compare directly with the Megane Trophy. All in the name of science you understand...

Its so odd to hear a Renault V6 that doesn't scream like previous ones before.

Cross-pollination of Renault and Nissan continues..............that V6? I'll be shocked if it's not the one from R35 GT-R... I know that Megane RS Trophy sports a V6 from 350Z ( I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO CALL IT FAIRLADY).
