Replace DFGT usb cord?

My lovely dog thought it would make a great toy and basically snipped my usb cord connecting the wheel to the PS3. Any chance logitec would sell a cable that I can replace?

I havent had a chance to call yet, but I imagine they wont sell or provide just a cable. Im not good at wire splicing, but I can solder... Any suggestions?

Can't you just connect the wires from one half of the cable to the wires of the other half? You might lose a few centimeters, but it should still work fine. If you can solder, you should be able to pull this off. Good luck! I have my doubts about Logitech selling just the cable.

If you find an old Logitech corded USB mouse, the connections to the board will be the same. Don't ask how I know, but back in the days Logitech didn't require you to return a faulty DFGT, just the USB cable (-:
