I agree that people should get temp ban for doing things like that.Either way,any special reason that could somehow explain his anger?

Sorry, I edited my post. Right video now.

I agree with you but a temporary ban and losing some Cr and Miles point will be a good idea.

If he act like this again, his ID sen should be ban from sport mode definitely.

It's racers like him that are giving the sports mode a bad rep, don't see the point of ramming people who are clearly faster than you when you are way down the order.

Hopefully PD will bring a system in that relegates these sort of racers to battle it out amoungst themselves!

if he gets a permanent ban, how will he do it again?

After watching your 1st video:
What if he thought he could brake later and accidentally bumped into you at the end of the long straight? Or may be he misjudged the extra speed because of the slipstream?
What if he didn't notice you were next to him was just racing his own lines and accidentally hit you from the side, twice?
What if he is just a new, slow and very inexperienced driver?
Without further context I can not pick a side, sorry ;)

After watching the 2nd video:
Ok, I'm with you 100%.
Wat a douche.

Yeah that is a grade A douche. So many others just like him, I've posted a few vids on here myself.
Definitely need a proper in game reporting system and temp bans for idiots like that.

I've saved replays with a alot of that kind of people just yesterday that I could use those to create a video, everyday for the next month.
I think that as time passes, more "clean" people are giving up.
I had only two guys that actually were respectfull and fair: one that gave a position back after making a huge mistake/accident and another that was super clean and we ended trading places almost every lap -from start to finish- without a single touch (not even the smallest of bumps or contacts).By far the best battle I've had in GTS (beta till now). And that somehow made me feel better after the demolution derby I've had all day.

I've not looked at this, but what if you wait until the end of the race and they've left the room (as a lot of punting drivers do)? Can you still report?

If so I shall be making a bit more of a habit to note driver's names...

You report them to Sony that way and not to PD.So it can happen even if you or they exit the lobby or the game -examples-.

at least they could ghost lapped cars

Lapping cars is part of racing, ghosting lapped vehicles is not an option in my opinion. Lapping this guy is a whole different story, he should be banned. If he was just having a bad race then he can still leave other people alone and try again next time. This is deliberate and something does need to be done about this type of person.

That said, any time I have lapped a car they deliberately try to block. I was 2nd behind a guy a while ago, we came upon last place on the last lap and he tried to take out both of us. Could have resulted in me getting the W but thats a pretty crappy way to win for me and lose for the guy that was in first.

Well they likely won't ban them or black flag them so sadly ghosting is the only realistic option that they may implement. Do nothing and some people will carry on doing this, you could even get someone's brother or mate trying to help them win like this, especially in the championships races.

Ghosting is a bit extreme as like someone else said above passing back markers safely is part of racing. The biggest problem is that lapped cars do not get a blue flag warning (Tbh maybe they do I've never been lapped so wouldn't know). In your mirror you can't see people's positions so unless you're dead last you wouldn't know that the car behind you isn't racing you for position. There should be a blue flag and if you ignore it then you get a penalty like in real life. It's quite simple!

I have also blocked players on PSN using the similar feature there (XMB > Friends > Players Met > Block Player). No way to know if it works with GTS matching, but I would think they would have to take that into account. So far I've not seen either of the players I blocked in another race but that could just be the wide world of GTS matching pools.

Ha. You think that was bad? I was hunted every corner by someone that was clearly a faster racer than me. I started 7th in nations cup. This guy proceeded to kill me every corner and wait for me. When I would drive off he would chase me back down. The very fact that he could catch up to me every turn told me he was faster than me. So why wouldn’t he just go ahead and pass me? He literally wanted to screw me over. He picked me from turn 1, and intentionally rammed me at every braking point.
