I figured I'd post here first to see if you guys can help with the Accord Euro R's tuning...
At full race suspension and max engine/tranmission it can be a handful.

All aids are off and I just use a controler for now (until I build something for my DF but that's a different topic)

Thanks

Best post it in a separate thread... also, have a look around, it may be posted somewhere. :)

EDIT: Oh, it's moved already. :D

@ Sanjko: Please edit your comments into your previous post instead of replying to your own posts. Two posts in a row with nothing between is not good. Thanks.

@ Euro-R: I'm running the 2002 Euro-R as an Acura TSX in the current SWCTC Touring Car OLR series. The specified setup is as follows:

Lightweight 3
R3 tires
Sport Suspension
Race Brakes, no balancer
Race Transmission, Race Flywheel, 1-way LSD
300 hp

With the semi-race suspension specified by the rules, I don't have quite as much adjustability. But here's how I have the car dialled in:

Springs: 8.2/4.2
Ride: 124/134
Dampers: 3/7 (not double adjustable)
Camber: 3.0/2.5 (more rear camber than I usually run on an FWD car)
Toe: Not adjustable (but I'd go for 1 or 2 clicks negative toe in the back)
Sways: Not adjustable (but I'd go for full stiff in the back)

Final Drive: 4.550
Autoset: 6 (then adjust 2nd gear to be as tall as possible, and shorten 6th a little)

The car with this setup is very progressive as it reaches the limit. As all FWD cars do it understeers a bit on the throttle but is responsive to lifting, and tucks the nose in well.

It responds OK to trail braking, but don't try it on more than about 70% brakes. You'll get better turn-in if you do not slam the brakes. If you have trouble braking more gently, slam them on in a straight line and then turn in as you let off, but don't try to turn in on full brakes.

I will give the above a try. The car seems very slow coming out of corners though... I think it's time to remove the Stage 3 turbo and do the full engine tune instead.

Ps; Thanks whoever moved the post!

If you stomp it coming out of the corners it will just spin the fronts and wander off the outside of the course. It's good at around 300 hp - NA 2 tuning - but you need to learn to ease into the gas and try to have the wheels as straight ahead as possible.

With this car set up like this I'm lapping Sears Point sports car course in the 1':41" range and Deep Forest in the 1':23" range.

[edit] Do you have a TSX in real life? So do we... '04 MSM automatic with nav. I'm a member at www.tsxclub.com as well.

Thanks. It's hard(er) with the controller especially since I am used to the DF. I just need to make something to support the wheel again so I can get back to my "normal" driving style :dopey:

I do indeed have a TSX. Just got it too and I love it! Slightly used, 6spd manual, no navi. I have so many plans for it 💡
