I have seen people claim to reach speeds in excess of 250mph with the Mclaren F1. For those who have accomplished this..... what is your tunning setup?

I test the Mclaren on the long tunnel in SS7 and can only get up to 240mph. I have tested on Sarthe no chicanes and have achieved 245mph. I dont know why? Could it be road surface physics?

All upgrades purchased. I lowered suspension all the way, reduced aero force to minimum, stiffened springs to max, transmission is setup for a top speed run. Traction Control off, all other driver assist tech is off, abs off. Do I need to tune LSD? Do hard racing tires improve top speed? Camber and Toe suggestions?

Some say the Mclaren can keep pace with Bugatti Veyron because of the extreme light weight and high hp and topple the Legendary Enzo.

Thank you for all the advice offered from those who contribute :)

Do you have any aero parts installed? If so, remove them. LSD shouldn't matter. Tires should not matter (technically rolling resistance will increase with wider/softer tires but I'm not sure that GT5 calculates this). When you say "transmission is setup for a top speed run" what do you mean?

Looking for this same thing on Route X. I can only get this thing to around 244. Which is like the top speed of the car in real life, so the added 200HP should make it go a little faster. No wing on it, don't know what to do other than that.

same here, just 396,5 kph...no chance to reach 400+

My Enzo can hit 417+ without draft.. So if a F1 can beat that then it should be able to get up to speeds like that.. I will have a tune later tonight and let you know the results
