I am not too sure of my speed at the time of impact because the speedo needle was buried. I walked away from the wreck with only a two broken ribs and a minor cardiac contucion. My girlfriend was not as lucky, the backs of our seats broke (not the bride ERGO's) she jettisoned through the rear seat and into the hatch, when the car flipped I landed on top of her and broke her sholder. I did not get a D.U.I, I blew under the legal state limit of .08 BAC. I now belive that the state limit of BAC should be lowered. Had I not been drinking my thinking would not have been imparied.

ITR #337 may go into a National Ad Campain for M.A.D.D.
Please don't do what I did, it's not worth the Jail time, Loss of a great car and possibly Loss of Lifes.

This car is going to be parted out. Everything must go. I am letting everything go pretty cheap! No Lowballers! Engine, Suspesion all the good JDM goodies.

M.A.D.D. will only be using the chasis and wheels.

I read the quote in PR's post and thought "Why do people only say that after they've written off their pride and joy?" Then I twigged - people who say it before don't write their cars off in avoidable accidents.

140mph whilst drunk with no seatbelt? He deserves everything he gets. He should think himself lucky - there was that Skyline in Australia recently that did something similar and killed the 4 occupents.

Well, you know, I could respect this line, if the owner of that car hadn't been such a stupid dipweed himself. I can't stay quiet about somebody moronic enough to do 140 mph on a public road. And to compound it by doing so with a passenger - and after drinking - just makes it impossible not to mention what a brain-dead idiot this guy is.

Nope, no sympathy here, not even for the car. If you are going out to drink, get someone responsible enough to drive for you. I don't care if that's a designated driver, a taxi, a limousine ... anyone really.

The driver is lucky that he didn't hit some innocent bystander. Too bad the driver didn't get worse punishment. Speed doesn't kill, inattentiveness kills. Impairing your senses is as bad or worse than being inattentive.

Some people may not realize this, but stock seatbacks are designed to break or "let go" when a certain number of Gs have been reached. It's a safety feature. I forgot how many Gs the seatback will sustain because it's been awhile since I heard about it, but it is so your body is not constantly pressed against a fixed object while you are also being subjected to those Gs. Fighter pilots grunt and groan to keep blood where it's supposed to be kept, drivers of street cars don't need to learn how to do this.

Well I'm just glad he didn't end up hitting anyone else. It's also good his girlfriend wasn't seriously hurt. But if I met that guy I would just laugh at him. It serves him right, going fast, to much to drink, not good enough of a driver. He deserved it, and he doesn't ever deserve to drive a car again.

On another note I surprised that little car held up so well, which makes me think he's bs'ing the speed. I would say with damage like that he'd be doing about 80ish. But it depends on what the hell he hit.

About the car, I'm not overly impressed with it. It's nice looking but I've seen better Integera.

i didnt say anything about the driver, i said IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DONT SAY IT ALL. The car was badass hell and there arent many at all cars that were as nice as this. i did not have any idea of how it happened. Im just posting pics of the car, not the driver so please shut up about that stuff. This sub forum is seriously has nothing but negative stuff to say.
