Retiring Bobs--good idea for autogrinding?

Hey all. I've been running some remote races to get $ for myself and friends--albeit manually as I'm not sold on setting up the autogrinding after the PSN woes. Can't use XP anymore as I hit level 40 this morning (no trophy popped tho?).

My question is, for other than my main Bob that I'm working on the air of experience trophy for, is it wise to take my other 5 guys back to zero? Will more friends be more likely to include my drivers if they're 0 instead of high 30s? I guess for autogrinders it doesn't matter?

One last thing, I saw a guy that had 7 Bobs--how is that possible?

Thanks

7 Bobs is a glitch they are the exact same driver with the same name and the same colours, it has just copied it by accident.

Autogrinder that is posted on these forums chooses driver at random I believe. The guy even gives you a link (I believe) that will show you his entire code for running the grinder so I really don't think he is a part of a massive hacker group trying to steal your account.

Pllus the attack on playstation/sony wasn't to get credit cards or passwords it was a revenge thing, they had absolutely no interest in getting your passwords.

When I run races manually I go more for level 0 drivers if I want mine to win. You should get raced more with level 0 bobs.

The grinder for B-spec has loads of options for driver selection its no longer forced as random driver selection. Users can alter options.
A level ZERO bob is easy to beat. so yes higher b-spec level users will pick lower drivers to race to get a higher winnings.

But PD did put in a system to allow lower drivers a chance win but you need to be about only 15-20 b-spec levels lower than the highest B-spec racer for it to work.
The Super cars v Lemon car random selection system.
Most B-spec online car events have them.
Nascar events are the exception...That relys on Grid position.

The Grinder works on either random selection of available drivers or selects users who have raced your bobs more recently, so its not affected by driver level.

However, manually selected races are different. Having lower level racers will mean your racers will be used more, as most users (including me) will select the lowest level racers available. However there are two other things to consider:

1) Lower level racers will get less XP/Credits per race as they tend to do worse in the race itself. However, this effect is really different depending on the race. Its not very big in the Le Sarthe race (wide variance between cars), but huge for the NASCAR and Japan GT races (nearly identical cars).

2) Due to the effects of the rubber banding AI, races with lower level drivers take longer. NASCAR races with many level 0 racers take 22-23 minutes, whereas a LeSarthe Race (usually considered the longest race) with all level 40 drivers takes right around 18 minutes.

Wake I run your guys from time to time (manually) and they're all 40s and keep winning. Lol.

I can only do so many manuals, but sure appreciate those that autogrind my bobs--they always get put in my remotes. Godfathersteve and ocmike come to mind. I'll keep cranking them out as I can.

Gonna do a couple 24 hr races this long weekend, probably an A and B spec.
