This looks like it would be great. The Richmotech LC i had for the T3PA pro pedals is amazing. I do however have concerns about the build quality of the regular T3PA pedals and wouldn't invest in upgrading them. PRO Pedals, sure, but not these plastic pedals.

I think it would be better to save for the CSL Elite LC pedals and use the Drivehub.

I understand it can be a budget concern spending double the cost of this load cell mod to get the CSL Elite + Drivehub, but you end up with a far superior pedal set that's mostly medal and built like a tank. The T3PAs pedal arms are too flimsy and wobbly and feel like they could snap at any moment.

I've owned 2 T3PA sets, 2 T3PA pro sets, T3PA Pro with Ricmotech LC, and currently the CSL Elite LC pedals.

hello pocket and oshawa. yes your right about the plastic arm.how long when the arm will snap.hope thay can make a metal arm replacement for the t3pa, then it will be sure it will not snap. the problem i see is the loadcell is in the middle of the arm.where all the pressure will be. so its possible it will snap sooner or later. in the other hand the bodin loadcell i see, the pressure is in the upper arm almost at the back of the pedal of where you press. so is most likely less to snap. but its still a good modification from ricmotech,to convert to a loadcell for the t3pa. hope that the 20 kg pressure will not snap the arm.

Is snapping T3PA pedal a common problem? I have not heard of anyone who has done so.

This load cell is a direct replacement for the potentiometer but is it read the same by game/OS software - so will it work directly on a console for example? The 20kg required for max braking is interesting as I have no idea how hard I press the pedal currently (with brake mod) to get full braking. I would not want to press any harder than I do now or I'll likely end up with sore knees.

Yes this load cell will work directly on console, and I've never heard of a plastic pedal arm snapping either. I have had several snapped torsion springs in my early model T3pa pro's but that's all. The new T3paGT's have metal pedal arms so it's really a non-issue for T-GT owners like myself, however for me in Australia this is still an expensive piece of kit ($235 AUD with priority shipping), but I'm still considering getting it..

I'd really like to see some adjustability built in to this sort of unit as I have no idea how much the 20 kgs of pressure is either, but I'd presume it's at the lower end of the scale considering the Fanatec Elite load cell is adjustable up to 90 kgs.

20 kg is not much to push with your foot. After all you're pushing 70-100kg with your foot every time you take a step.

In real race cars with no servos you'll be pushing 70-100kg too but you have the deceleration force to help
