When you lower a car, how much do you increase the spring rate by? Is there a fixed formula or method of this?
Also, should you adjust Bound and Rebound when you adjust ride height? Is there a formula or method for this? Thanks for any help I can get with this.

Read through the sticky note at the top for some basic info on suspension adjustment.

For a rule of thumb, I go by percentages. If I lower the car by 20% (say, from 90mm to 72mm) I increase the corresponding spring rate by 20%. That's only a base rule though, and I often adjust away from that later.

Dampers I tend to adjust a little independently of the springs/height, but basically, the stiffer the spring rate the stiffer the damping should be.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, it does. Thanks. I also just found out that there was a suspension tuning guide, although I don't know where to find it yet. But I'm looking.
