Man i just tested it out today, works great. Love this little player. The sound of course is just awsomed and i even fell down today to test the durability. Well didnt fall on purpose. But it took a lickin today and just kept on ticking. Its small too its a little smaller then my palm.

As for my bike i have a 2003 Gary Fisher Sugar 4+ its a sweet bike man.

Cool! 👍 I'd say you got a good deal considering it's a solidstate player and it's never going to skip.

I have an ARCHOS jukebox that holds 20 GB and I love it. It's not nearly as portable as the Rio player, because well it's a hard drive. I'd never be able to take it mountain biking. I can hold more mosre songs than you though. :P

i got a cheapo IRock Mp3 128 Player.Takes AAA batteries and doesn't last the night.software isn't user friendly either{the interface reminds me of windows 3.1}.i dropped it on my carpet and the battery cover popped off.:lol:

i've been wanting a oringal Nomad Player{yeah i know the battery life on it sucks,but i got a outlet right next to me so i can use the A/C Adapter}

RCA lunch a new mp3 player with one and a half G.

and is similar size than that one rio.

i think is called lycra (i know there 2 more lycra models but this is a new one.)

Sorry NocturnalPS, I don't think you got a good deal. Rio sucks ass, I don't know how there still in business. Not only are there products bad but there service is worse. I know my view is a little subjective but I've also heard complaints from others about them. It's sad that I can't like them because I know the people that actually designed them and it's nice to know because I'm trying to get the same kind of job. Anyway, I guess I'm kinda becoming an avocate for a new player called the Neuros instead of getting an iPod and making sure no one gets a Rio. Here's the link to a thread I made, it has the link to the Neuros site. Thanks

--> What MP3 player to pick?? Help decide for me!

Nick:rolleyes:

Ok not to disappoint anyone but these things suck.

I bought one played it for a week and i dropped it on grass from 2 in. above the ground and it broke. It says on the box/ package it came in that it was a stronger design than anything else and that it was made to play sports.

srry but it sucks, and buy the way, i had the red one. About $10 cheaper.

@ car freak. Are you sure the surface was dry? It's more than likely that you got water into your mp3 player from the moisture in the grass.

Rio's players in general are pretty well made. Nothing much to make them stand out from the rest of the crowd but they're good. The Rio Karma is one of the best hard disk based mp3 players I've ever had the pleasure of using (a friend has one). The best ever IMO, is the iRiver iHP140/iHP120.
